Growing up in artistic and beautiful British Columbia Raquel Cole acquired her first guitar at the age of nine. Her father, who is a drummer, introduced her to his favorite bands and soon they began jamming in the basement. Having ticked off 34 U.S. states and most of Canada, Cole owns opening spots for artists Carrie Underwood, Brothers Osborne, Josh Turner,
Jonny Lang and many more.
Her present day creative life in Nashville consists of writing, studio days and building her creative community but her heart belongs on the road. Cole lives for live music and meeting her audience where they reside. Her skill as a multi-instrumentalist is one of the first things that her audience notices about writer and artist Raquel Cole. Stepping onto a stage with an acoustic an electric and a mandolin and on many nights a stomp box is her core desire and once you hear her you will understand why.
Raquel Cole has been tagged by The CBC and Radio Canada as '25 Artists Under 25 everyone in the world needs to know' along with Alessia Cara and Shawn Mendes. Cole is a recipient of a CCMA Award and the winner of many other accolades from American Songwriting Magazine lyric contest, U.S. Today for their exclusive "Playlist" pick, and The International Songwriting Competition where her song, "Imogene" took home 2nd place in the
Unsigned Only Category.
Her first album "Personal Truth" made it’s way to the airwaves in 2018. Songs written by Cole can also be found on projects as diverse as Marie Osmond on her Billboard Top 10 Country Albums charting album, "Music Is Medicine", The Railers and local Nashville favorite, Ben Danaher.
She is represented by WME for booking.
